    Description

    This seminar will explore various approaches for optimizing spine surgical patients from prior to surgery through the perioperative and postoperative period. Faculty will discuss methods for identifying the high-risk patient and strategies for complication avoidance and enhancing patient outcomes.

    Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:

    • Discuss approaches for identifying high-risk spine surgical patients
    • Describe strategies for medical optimization of spine surgical patients from prior to surgery through the perioperative period
