  • NEW CNS Guidelines—Vestibular Schwannoma

    • Jun 05, 2025

The CNS is excited to announce NEW Guidelines updating the evidence-based guidelines for management of vestibular schwannomas last published in 2018.

This series of guidelines assessed new literature adding to the data already abstracted for the prior version to update clinically relevant evidence-based recommendations for the management of vestibular schwannomas. These guidelines will set a point of reference for patient care while also highlighting important key areas for future research.

The subjects of this guideline update include new recommendations on initial otologic evaluation, imaging diagnosis, use of surgical techniques, intraoperative monitoring, administration of radiation therapy and hearing preservation.
