  • Congress of Neurological Surgeons And Callagy Recovery Launch Groundbreaking Alliance to Restore Lost Revenue to Neurosurgeons

    Schaumburg, Ill., October 2, 2025

The Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) - with almost 12,000 neurosurgical members - and Callagy Recovery proudly announce a new strategic collaboration designed to safeguard and enhance financial outcomes for neurosurgeons nationwide.

Through this collaboration, Callagy Recovery will work alongside CNS members to enforce the No Surprises Act (NSA), addressing the significant reimbursement gaps physicians face due to lack of enforcement. Across the country, more than 90% of eligible out of network surprise bill claims remain uncollected, costing physicians over $500 billion annually. Callagy Recovery’s full-contingency model empowers neurosurgeons to recover lost revenue through the NSA’s arbitration process at no cost to themselves.

“The CNS is committed to helping our members optimize their potential—for their careers and their practice—and our affinity program aims to provide our members with valuable resources to do just that,” said Daniel Hoh, CNS President.  “We are excited about this new collaboration and the opportunity to ensure our members are fairly compensated, while also strengthening patient access to world-class care.”

“We are bringing enforcement into reality with honor and results,” said Sean Callagy, two-time Top 100 National Jury Verdict winner and founder of Callagy Recovery, Callagy Law, Unblinded, ACTi, and other movement-centered enterprises. “I’ve devoted my life to creating partnerships that expand possibilities and elevate organizations beyond what they imagined was achievable. This collaboration with CNS is a powerful step in that vision.”

“Our role is not transactional—it’s transformational,” added Fernando Valencia, Ellis Island Honors Society Beacon Award recipient and Director of Actualizer Success at Callagy Recovery. “We stand beside organizations as true partners, preserving their reputation, supporting their members, and deepening loyalty. We are here as allies to strengthen their ecosystem.”

Laura Siclari, Managing Partner of Siclari Law Group and affiliate partner of Callagy Recovery, who was a key teammate in creating the framework for this CNS Member offering, added: “This is the essence of an impactful collaboration—organizations uniting to amplify their missions and deliver greater value. I’m honored to help connect CNS with Callagy Recovery in a way that ensures neurosurgeons are protected, supported, and empowered.”

In June 2025 alone, Callagy Recovery returned $49.7 million to providers nationwide, with the average surgeon recovering more than $127,000 per month in previously lost income. To date, the company has recovered over $1.1 billion, with projections exceeding $100 million per month nationally.

This collaboration marks a pivotal step toward ensuring neurosurgeons receive the compensation they deserve while reinforcing CNS’s mission of advancing and supporting its members.
